Ayodhya Ram Mandir: Lakhs of devotees throng Ayodhya's Ram Mandir every day.
Ram Lalla was consecrated on 22nd January, a ceremony attended by more than five thousand people including Prime Minister Modi. The statue of Ramlala installed in the Ram temple was created by the famous sculptor Arun Yogiraj. He told in many interviews how this statue of Ramlala was made after working day and night for the last nine months.
While giving an interview to 'WION', Arun Yogiraj said that he had only 20 minutes to make the eyes of Ramlala's idol. "There was a 20-minute window to make the eyes. So, we were given 20 minutes to complete the eyes," he said. Also said, Arun Yogiraj said, before making eyes, I have to bathe in Sarayu river and offer puja to Hanuman Garhi and Kanak Bhavan. Also, I was given a golden scissors and a silver hammer for the job. He said that he was very confused when he opened his eyes. But they can make eyes in ten ways.
Earlier, in an interview, Yogiraj had said that my idol was selected for the Ram temple, what makes me more happy is that the whole world is very happy and delighted with that idol. Ramlala is not only for me, but for the whole country. I did a very small job. Let us tell you that Yogiraj's family has been making idols for the past 300 years. He is the sixth generation of his family making idols. Yogiraj says that he has the blessings of his ancestors. He considers his father as his guru. Arun Yogiraj said that whenever he made Ramlala's idol, a monkey would come every day between 4 and 5 pm. Later a curtain was put up at the place, but he would come there and remove it and go away after seeing the idol. Bhaskar later gave this information to Champat Rai of the Ram Mandir Trust.
