Lord Ram Devotees Donate A Silver Broom To Ayodhya’s Ram Mandir"


 

Devotees of Ram belonging to 'Akhil Bharatiya Mang Samaj' donated a silver broom weighing 1.751 kg to the Ram Janmabhoomi Tirthkshetra Trust. These devotees requested to use brooms to clean the sanctum sanctorum, ANI reported. In the video footage, devotees are seen leading a procession holding silver brooms aloft and garlanded.

A silver broom:

 This specifies the nature of the donation. A silver broom refers to a valuable and perhaps symbolic object that devotees are offering. Brooms are generally associated with cleanliness and purity, and in a temple context they symbolize the maintenance and sanctity of the sacred space.
